Our project team managers and superintendents supervise each project to completion, and our journeymen are trained to execute routine and emergency maintenance of piping systems and equipment safely and efficiently. PLAAS INC offers a full range of capabilities including new construction, major shutdowns and emergency or routine mechanical maintenance.

QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEMS

We stand by and ensure the quality of all our projects is maintained and improved through our quality control system (QCS) team. These QCS include: 

• Custom-written weld-procedure specifications (WPS)
• Customer branded procedure qualification records (PQR)
• A full-time Certified Welding Inspector responsible for Non-Destructive Examinations (NDE), with services including: 
  • Visual Testing (VT)
  • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
  • Liquid Penetrating Testing (LPT)
  • Wet-Fluorescent Magnetic Particle Testing (WFMT)

START-UPS AND MAINTENANCE

PLAAS INC has led and participated in many plant start-ups all across the country. Our technicians and site supervisors have experience with many start-ups including ground-up operations and smaller maintenance jobs. PLAAS INC’s construction management experience, from designing to permitting, construction to maintenance, provides us with the capabilities to self perform any scope of plant construction. 

PLAAS INC can handle project management, facility permitting, site work, steel erection, mechanical piping, concrete work and all other requirements that would result in the construction of a successful facility.

VESSEL REPAIR, ASME STAMPS, CODE WORK & CERTIFICATIONS

When problems arise with your ASME vessels, you need a solution immediately. PLAAS INC has “S”, “U” and “PP” ASME stamps, allowing us to build, fabricate and alter pressure vessels. PLAAS INC also holds an “R” stamp issued by the NBIC (National Board Inspection Code) for the repair and/or alteration of boilers, pressure vessels, and other pressure-retaining items.

ENGINEERING 

Combining machines and technology, our engineering team designs, analyzes, installs, tests and maintains the operations of mechanical systems and equipment, as well as automates mechanical systems. 

BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING (BIM)

Prior to kickoff, our projects are built to spec by integrating data, which provides a digital, scaled project review. This step ensures our customers fully understand the project from planning and design to execution and operations.
